6.) Anna Magdalena "Lena" DEXHEIMER was born 21 FEB 1838 in Biebelnheim, Rheinhessen, Hessen, d. 1 Nov. 1924, Elverta, Sacramento County, CA; m 14 Nov 1869 at German Lutheran Church, Sac Co, CA to John Charles HARMS. Lena is said to have came to the US in 1861 & to California in 1867.

7.) Philippina DEXHEIMER was born 31 AUG 1841 in Biebelnheim, Rheinhessen, Hessen, died 3 Aug 1890 in Sacramento, CA; m 1st circa 1865 to John William HARMSON, m 2nd 08 Jun 1885 in Sacromento, CA to William SHMIDT. More Here.

At left is Lena (DEXHEIMER) HARMS, 2nd is a memorial picture of one of her sisters (this could be Elisa GRIESER), to the right is an unknown Dexheimer/Grieser/Nigg. These two pictures were taken by John Forester and Son, Photographers, 178 and 180 Gratiot Ave., Detroit, Mich., Next we beleive are the four eldest children of Elisa GRIESER - Mary J., Louis, John & Nicholas, this picture was taken by G. Grelling, Artist, Detroit Michigan. The last 2 photos are unknown Dexheimers by Benjamin, DeRuyter & Otselic, N. Y. The last three photos are from a CDV album that belonged to "Mrs. Harmson" aka Philippina Dexheimer More photos here.

<Phillip Dexheimer fam

This is said to be the family of Phillip Dexheimer, it was taken by John Forester and Son, Photographers, 178 and 180 Gratiot Ave., Detroit, Mich. Now we are thinking it was mislabeled because the childern are wrong & Phillip was not in Michigan. More pictures of unknowns here.
